Viola Havel Gregorius, 91, a native of Minnesota and lifelong resident of Fairhope, died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010.
She was a longtime member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener and seamstress and loved going to yard sales.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Vincent M. Gregorius, of Fairhope; four sons, Donald V. (Juanita) Gregorius of Spanish Fort, Richard E. (Lorena) Gregorius and David A. (Elizabeth) Gregorius both of Fairhope, and Vincent M. Gregorius Jr. of Foley; daughter, Shirley E. (Pat) Bankester of Bay Minette; sister, Mildred Engstrom of Fairhope; brother, Wilbur Havel of Silverhill; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church Building Fund.
