Virginia Gammill Parker, age 84, a native of Tallassee, Alabama and a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016.
She received a master's degree from Auburn University.
She is survived by her husband, Talmage O. Parker; and one daughter, Beverly Wood, both of Foley, Alabama; sisters-in-law, Juanita Parker of Foley, Alabama; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley.
Interment will follow at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
