GULF SHORES, Ala. — At Monday’s City Council meeting in Gulf Shores, elected officials decided to postpone voting on the permit for 2011 Hangout Beach and Music Festival until their scheduled meeting following Labor Day.
Since the next meeting is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 6, which is Labor Day, the council will meet for a work session at 3 p.m. on Monday Sept. 13, followed by the regular council meeting beginning at 5 p.m.
Organizers are seeking a permit from the city council to extend the Hangout Beach and Music Festival for the next five years.
