BAY MINETTE, Ala. — Baldwin County voters chose a new district attorney and unseated two county commissioners Tuesday, according to unofficial results.
Former Baldwin County prosecutor Hallie Dixon received 52 percent of the votes to defeat attorney and businessman David Green.
Incumbent Judy Newcomb placed third in the June Primary election.
In the Baldwin County Commission District 2 runoff, Bob James received 51 percent of the votes, ousting incumbent David Ed Bishop.
Tucker Dorsey captured the District 3 seat with 54 percent of the vote, while incumbent Wayne Gruenloh received 45 percent.
In the gubernatorial runoff, Robert Bentley defeated Baldwin County’s Bradley Byrne by a 56 percent statewide margin. Baldwin County voters gave Byrne the nod by a 52 to 48 percent margin.
