James Earl Wallace, 92a native of Shelby County, Ill., grew up in Decatur, Ill., a resident of Elberta, died Thursday, June 10, 2010.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Calvary during World War II, and also in Korea. He was a member of Victory Life Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Budrow Wallace of Elberta; son, Jeff Wallace of Kansas City, Mo.; daughter, Judy (Jon) Sensabaugh of Stevens, Idaho; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ralph (Phyllis Jane) Wallace of Decatur, Ill.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 25 at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS, Pensacola, Fla.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Victory Life Church, 20511 County Road 12, Foley, AL 36535.
