William Ray Waller, 67, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, surrounded by his wife of 50 years, children and families, after suffering from a rare illness called Shy-Drager.

He was a member of Ridglea Heights Baptist Church and was the owner and operator of Waller Construction Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Martha Waller.

Survivors include his wife, Ruie Brooks Waller; four children, Billy (Shelly) Waller, Karen (John “Buddy”) Whitford, Brenda (Anthony Sr.) Tanner and David (Cindy) Waller; grandchildren, Kristopher W. Waller Netto, Michael C. Whitford, Anthony “Tony” Tanner Jr., Jeremy R. (Chastidy) Whitford, Sarah E. Waller, Blakeli E. Tanner, Savannah R. Waller, T. Bailey Waller, Jordan B. Waller, Alissa D. Waller, Levi A. Waller and Rommie D. (Rita) Waller; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, Miss. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Steve Cirlot officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Helena, Miss.

Pallbearers will be Kris Netto, Michael Whitford, Tony Tanner, Jeremy Whitford, Bailey Waller, Levi Waller, Ron Brun and David Cirlot.
