Wanda Lee Murfin, 85, a resident of Silverhill, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Robertsdale; a Christian wife and mom; former secretary to director of nursing at Thomas Hospital and Lakeside Hospital in Metairie, La.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. William R. Murfin.
She is survived by her six children, Brenda Marchman of Madison, Miss., Russ Murfin of Silverhill, Martin Murfin of Silverhill, Nancy Hall of Fairhope, Martha Tauzin of Mansfield, Texas and Laurie Pierce of Baton Rouge, La.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at 10 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Robertsdale. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
