Warren Alexander Folmar, age 91, a long time resident of Bay Minette, died Dec. 12, 2012 in Macon, Ga.
Mr. Folmar was born in Bromley, Ala. He was the son of the late Thomas Franklin Folmar and the late Irene McConnell Folmar and the husband of the late Phyllis Fleming Folmar. Mr. Folmar attended the University of Alabama and was a retired auditor for the State of Alabama. He was a veteran of W.W.II having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a World War II POW. He is survived by son, Larry (Mollie) Folmar of Wetumpka, Ala., and Kenneth (Sharon) Folmar of Macon, Ga. He was blessed with four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Jan. 26, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Bay Minette, Ala.
