Warren Manford Johnson, 66, a native and resident of the Crossroads community, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.
He was a firefighter for the federal government. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Price Johnson of Crossroads; his children, Terri Johnson (Rex) Leddy of Corpus Christi, Texas and Andrew Warren (April) Johnson of Crossroads; one brother, Edward Johnson of Crossroads; five sisters, Louise (Gerald) Hughes of Foley, Rachel (Gene) Merritt of Mobile, Susie (Keith) Smith of Crossroads, Kelly Johnson of Crossroads and Shelly (Phillip) Stewart of Bay Minette; and five grandchildren, Cameron Johnson, Jade Johnson, Colton Johnson, Jackson Leddy V and Rykr Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Manford and Eunice Wallace Johnson; and a sister, Illene Walker.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Crossroads Church of God, with the Rev. Donnie Sanders and the Rev. Tom Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Church of God Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, from 6 until 9 p.m., at Crossroads Church of God.
Pallbearers will be James Johnson, Mike Wallace, Donnie Wallace, Paul Dutruch, Jim Graham, Mike Harvill, Ronnie Wallace and Johnny Eubanks.
