Jeraldine “Jerri” Maddox Watkins, 71, a native of Tuscaloosa County and a resident of Summerdale, died Monday, March 24, 1008.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Roy Watkins Sr. of Summerdale; daughter, Wanda J. (Danny) Cink of Dauphin Island; two sons, Roy Watkins Jr. of Mobile and William E. Watkins of Van Cleve, Miss.; six sisters, Sadie (Charles) Ramsey and Betty (Walter) Smith, both of Buhl, Lula (Charles) Kornegay of West Point, Miss., Alma (Ray) McCourity of Tupelo, Miss., Mattie Jo (Rodney) Heritage of Gallion and Linda Watkins of Romulus; two brothers, David (Marie) Taylor of Demopolis and Tollie “Rusty” (Myong) Taylor Jr. of Columbus, Miss.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27 at Mack Funeral Home with the Rev. John Schell officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Mike Watkins, Ray McDuffie, Danny Cink, Michael Lingenfelter, Scotty Ladner and Charlie Ray Kornegay.
Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
