In 1994, Wayne Wilson, along with many other Baldwin County residents, retired from Scott Paper Company.

Wilson soon arranged a breakfast get-together for the retirees, and about 35 people now gather for breakfast every first Friday of each month.

Wilson recently announced he would step down as facilitator for the group, and during the December breakfast, he received a plaque recognizing his 18 years of service. Jim Ellis of Daphne, who will replace Wilson as facilitator, made the presentation.
