Weather delays Bicentennial, Christmas activities

LOXLEY — Due to possible inclement weather, the Baldwin County Bicentennial celebration and the Loxley Christmas parade, both scheduled for Saturday, are being postponed one week to Dec. 19.

Both events will be held at the same scheduled times, next Saturday.

The Bicentennial celebration, held at Bicentennial Park in Stockton, will be from 10 a.m. to dark, with music, games, crafts, free food and fireworks. The event is free.

The Loxley Christmas parade will start at 9:30 a.m. with the parade lineup beginning at 8 a.m. and float judging at 9 a.m.
