Frances Sarah LaCoste Weekes, 88, a lifelong resident of Weeks Bay, died Monday, April 12, 2010.
She was the daughter of Sarah Baker and Donate LaCoste. She married William George “Pop” Weekes of Weeks Bay on June 29, 1944 in the state of Louisiana Parish of St. Bernard.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Ruth Twilley of Weeks Bay; grandchildren, William Melton “Bo” (Cindy) Weaver of Foley, Mary Frances W. (Larry) McPherson of Walnut Hill, Fla., Michael Glen “Mike” (Deana) Weaver of Bratt, Fla., Marcus Lavon “Mark” Weaver of Orange Beach; six great-grandchildren and the seventh due in June; sister, Elaine Collins; brother-in-law Brady Z. (Betty) Weekes; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with funeral mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 17 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Magnolia Springs. Rosary service will be at 9:30.
