Peter J. Werner Jr., 83, a Daphne resident for many years, died peacefully Monday, Oct. 6, 2008 at home after a long illness.
Survivors include his wife, Tomasina Werner; son, Kevin (Linda) Werner (Linda) of Chicago; daughter, Kerry (Jim) Fitzpatrick of Granite Bay, Calif.; step-daughter, Melinda (Terry) Youngblood of Daphne; stepson, Eric Cooley of Spanish Fort; brother, Robert (Miriam) Werner of Milwaukee; sister, Elaine Royal of Naples, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
His body has been donated to the University of South Alabama College of Medicine Anatomical Gifts Program for use in its research to advance medical treatment and technology.
A memorial service was held Sunday, Oct. 12 at Spanish Fort United Methodist Church.
