MOBILE, Ala. — BayFest officials added two acts to the lineup for BayFest 2009. Grammy Award-winning band Train and Mobile’s own Wet Willie will take the stage in front of the already announced Steve Miller Band on Oct. 3 on the AT&T/IP Casino, Resort and Spa Stage.
Train has sold over four million albums in the U.S. and has produced several top singles, including “Meet Virginia,” “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me),” “Calling All Angels” and “When I Look to the Sky.”
Formed in the home of BayFest, Wet Willie hit it big with the hit “Keep On Smilin’,” which reached No. 10 on the Billboard singles chart. The band followed up with a number of additional hits, including “Country Side of Life,” “Everything That ‘Cha Do (Will Come Back to You)” and “Leona.”
Wet Willie celebrates its 40th Anniversary this year.

Weekend passes will be available in outlets, including Circle K stores, Regions, Hancock, and Whitney banks, IP Casino in Biloxi,and the Downtown Mobile Alliance beginning Aug. 13 at noon.
The 15th Annual BayFest Music Festival will be held Oct. 2-4 in the streets of downtown Mobile.
It is the host of more than 125 national, regional and local artists who play on nine stages over a three-day weekend.
Confirmed acts for the 2009 festival include 3 Doors Down, The Steve Miller Band, T-Pain, Akon, Alan Jackson, Billy Currington, James Otto, Musiq Soulchild, Ne-Yo and Gary Allan.
