What Every Black American Needs to Know About Kidney Disease

(StatePoint) Kidney disease is the ninth leading cause of death in the U.S. and often has no visible symptoms. While Black Americans represent 13 percent of the population, they account for 35 percent of patients treated for end-stage renal disease, according to the United States Renal Data System.
