Nora Whatley, 84, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010 in Bay Minette.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Bay Minette and attended the Fretwell Tabernacle Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lindsey Whatley; three sons, Harold Whatley, Herman Lee Whatley and Fat Whatley; and daughter, Hazel Whatley.
Survivors include three sons, Howard Whatley of Mobile, Harvest Whatley of Pine Grove and BoBo Whatley of Bay Minette; three daughters, Barbara Ann Whatley and Kay Kay Whatley, both of Bay Minette, and Riddle Whatley Hancock of Perdido; a number of grandchildren, several of whom she raised, and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alene Kalahaus of Bay Minette.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16 at the Fretwell Tabernacle Holiness Church with Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Edward Green, Mark Mandez, Shawn Whatley, Christine Whatley, Melissa Paulk and Jeff Whatley.
