I think everyone is wishing for snow or studying snow. KA is talking about snowflakes, icicles and snowmen. KA’s classroom is changed into ‘snowland’ because they are using the snowflakes and snowmen to make there room look like it is actually winter.

KB is not as into the snow thing. They are learning number patterns in math.

The second-graders went on a field trip to the Museum of Mobile and to Fort Conde. More next week about what they learned.

I want to say “hello” to Mrs. E (Mrs. Colleen Ebensperger). She is the new teacher in eighth grade and she is great!

The eighth-graders are excited about Confirmation and we are thrilled that Mrs. Schmidt will be at Confirmation with us. The eighth-graders are studying the “Diary of Anne Frank” in literature class.

Mrs. Toni Henry, our librarian, wants to apologize to Claire Mattingly, a third-grader whose name was left off the AR Points Winners for the second quarter. She was in the top three readers! Way to go Claire!

Our geography bee was held last week and the winner was Walker Mims of 6B. The second-place winner was Jay Howen of 6A; third place went to Gregory Stone of 8B.
