We celebrated the 100th day of school on Tuesday, Jan. 20.  Kindergarten and first-grade classes brought in 100 items. Mrs. McGinty’s kindergarteners (and Mrs. McGinty) dressed up as 100-year-olds to celebrate the day.

It’s time to order your yearbook.  This yearbook is a history of your child’s year at Daphne Elementary School.  While the future may not seem important to your child today, many of the names and faces will be forgotten 10 years from now. They don’t have to be. Be sure to reserve your child’s copy! Send your $25 to reserve your copy. The deadline for ordering is Feb. 6.  These are only sold by preordering.

The office Lost and Found is overflowing with sweaters, jackets, and coats.

Please stop by the office and see if one of them belongs to your child. Also remember to put your child’s name in all clothing and on all book bags, lunch boxes, and folders.
