Report cards will go home with the students on the last day of school, Thursday, May 22.  Don’t forget, please turn in all library books and pay up cafeteria lunch loans.

Mrs. Davis’ class is learning about Alabama.  The students and mothers had a wonderful Mother’s Day tea on Friday. They hope everyone enjoyed it.

Mrs. Utsey’s class is working on adding and subtracting three-digit numbers. They had fun reading Eric Carle books last week. They are now reading “Charlotte’s Web.” The class will be learning lots of new vocabulary words.

Congratulations to Zoe Laughlin for being our Shining Star of the week. The class will be celebrating the end of the year and their Accelerated Reader accomplishments with a walking field trip to the park. They have had a great second-grade year together!

Third-graders in Mr. Bellmyer’s class are celebrating the end of the year with a theme week. They are doing fun activities like taking a camping trip, going to Disney World, visiting pirates, going to the beach, and going on a picnic. They are closing out an exciting and educational year.

Mrs. Nolfe’s third-grade Project Jubilee students celebrated their end of the year this week with a Royal Feast. They decorated their coat of arms and swords, and toasted decorated goblets to a great year.

Happy Summer!
