A big thank you to Dr. Glenn Glass and his sponsorship of our recent Honors Breakfast. His generous support gave our honor roll students a great breakfast to start their day.
Our Olympics-themed Field Day has been set for May 9! Each class will be representing a country. At the end of the day, the team country with the most points wins the Field Day. There will be a fourth-grade winner and a fifth-grade winner. There will be some great stations for the students. One is carnival time. For $5, students will receive a carnival wristband and may participate in activities such as bubble blowing, hair spray paint, blow-up obstacle course and much more. There will also be competitive games in the gym, wet water games and relays, running races and a tug-of-war.
Parents and family members who believe they can volunteer their time may contact through the school office Coach Elizabeth Jennings or our PTO president, Mrs. Elizabeth Lemieux.
The talent showcase at our school is almost here! It is the students’ chance to show off their talents. You must have your application submitted by April 18. The talent showcase is April 29 in the gym on PTO night.
SATs are finally over for the year! Wednesday was our last day of testing. All the students have done a fabulous job of being respectful of others before the principal gives an all-clear. Spring Break is next week so we will see you back at school on April 21.
