Robert Nolan White, 81, born Feb. 22, 1929 in Perdido, died Saturday, April 24, 2010 at his residence in Franklin, Ga.
He is the son of Crocket David White and Marie Elizabeth Bryars White. He had a career in the U.S. Navy where he attained the rank of Senior Master Chief. Following retirement he found another career with the Baldwin County Highway Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include three children, Nola (Loy) Howard of Franklin, Ga., Robert Nolan (Linn) White Jr., of Seminole and Sabrina (Stacy) Garrett of Milton, Fla.; grandchildren, Clayton, Camille and Claire Howard of Franklin, Ga., Dylan and Jordan White of Seminole and Wade Garrett of Milton, Fla.; former wife, Sabra Hadley White; and six brothers and sisters, David White of Kewadin, Mich., Nathan White of Naples, Fla., Victor White of Bay Minette, Mary Louise Smith of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Pauline Smith of Bay Minette and Shirley Bryars of Perdido.
In keeping with his wishes he was cremated. Graveside services were held Saturday, May 15 at the Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
Visitation followed the service at Pleasant Plains Pentecostal Holiness Church.
