BAY MINETTE, Ala. — Dr. Tammy Whited of Boaz and the late Mr. Steve Whited of Oneonta are proud to announce the marriage of her daughter, Breann, to Mr. Eric McDowell Scott of Tuscaloosa. Eric is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Scott of Bay Minette.
Breann is a graduate of Auburn University, and completed her master’s degree at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. She is employed by Pearce, Bevill, Leesburg, Moore P.C. in Birmingham. Breann is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Davis of Boaz.
Mr. Scott attended the University of Alabama, and is employed with Northriver Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa. Eric is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Alex McDowell of Bay Minette, the late Mr. Nathan Scott and Mrs. Betty Scott of Daphne.
The couple married in Las Vegas, Nev., and will be honeymooning in Alaska. After the honeymoon trip, the couple will reside in Northport, Ala.
A reception is planned on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Kahalley House in Bay Minette. The reception is from 1 until 3 p.m., and all friends and relatives are invited to attend.
