ORANGE BEACH, AL – Widespread Panic will be returning to the Amphitheater at The Wharf in Orange Beach on Memorial Day weekend with a Friday night show. Tickets go on sale on April 24 and all are general admission for $55.
The group played The Wharf in April of both 2008 and 2009 and at the Hangout Fest in 2011. After the 2008 shows more than 140 people were arrested by Orange Beach Police but that number dropped to less than 40 the following year.
Widespread will be joined by Col. Bruce and the Madrid Express and Bloodkin.
On the night following the Widespread Panic show, May 23, the Beach Boys and America will play at the Amphitheater.
This announcement comes after a spring of periodic releases for a growing and diverse season of concerts. The latest announcement on March 30 has the Steve Miller joined by .38 Special on June 6.

The last announcement before the Steve Miller Band has John Fogerty’s “1969” tour playing at The Amphitheater at The Wharf on Friday, May 8. Tickets range from $31 to $75.50.
Fogerty adds to a stellar spring-summer lineup at The Wharf that includes Classic 1970s rockers Boston and Kansas. The groups will play a Friday night show on May 1 and tickets cost between $32 and $92.
The blockbuster Jimmy Buffett show is set for April 24 and on Feb. 27 tickets to his show with the Coral Reefer Band sold out in 90 minutes. Tickets were $145.25, $124.50, $104.10 and $62.95.
Tickets for Eric Church’s June 12 'The Outsiders World Tour range from $73.75 to $43.75, plus service charges. The opening act hasn't been announced yet.
Earlier this year it was announced that the Beach Boys and America will play a show at the Amphitheater as well. The beach music icons are coming to The Wharf Amphitheater on Memorial Day weekend and 1970s hit-making duo America will open the show.
That show will be on Saturday, May 23 of the holiday weekend. Tickets are $68 or $28.
Shows already announced for The Wharf this also include Dave Matthews Band on Tuesday, June 2.
Dave Matthews tickets are now on sale and cost $95 or $84. Matthews last played in Orange Beach at The Wharf in July 2013 and has also played at the Hangout Music Fest in Gulf Shores in 2012.
