Wilhelmina “Billie” Barber passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014 at her home in Fairhope.

She was born March 3, 1935 in Marked Tree, Ark. Her parents were Mead and Bertha Roberts.

She attended Tech High School in Memphis and the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

She had a happy, fun-loving personality and loved above all her family, then golf, boating and traveling to new places.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth; three daughters, Martha (Marc) Eason of Birmingham, Marian Baker of Bartlett, Tenn. and Melinda Barber of Memphis, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
