Willard “Bill” B. Wilson, 87, of Summerdale, passed away March 7, 2014.

He was a United States Army veteran, serving during World War II in Germany.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Geri Wilson; and a son, Joseph Ernest Wilson.

He is survived by two sons, Lamar (Cathy) Wilson of Daphne and Larae (Bobbie) Wilson of Summerdale; six daughters, Mona W. Oblak of Elberta, Roxanne (Wayne) Miller of Atlanta, Ga., Deanie (James) Humphrey of Stapleton, Miki Hendrick of Summerdale, Pam (Richard) Bailey of Daphne and Suzi (Tom) Hall of Foley; 28 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service for Mr. Wilson will be Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at 11 a.m., from Point Clear Baptist Church.

Interment with military honors will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.

Visitation at Point Clear Baptist Church will take place Tuesday, from 6 until 9 p.m.
