William “Bill” Hunter Phillips, 66, a native of Butler and resident of Daphne, died Monday, March 14, 2011.

He graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration. He was an educator and was active in the radio industry for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hunter Phillips and Isla Mae Trice Phillips; and his first wife, Patsy Taylor Phillips.

Survivors include his wife, Conchita “Kelley” Phillips of Daphne; sister, Betty Phillips (Ben) Barnhill of Fairhope; two daughters, Hunter Phillips (Mark) Goodman of Little Rock, Ark., and Conchita “Helen” (William) Doyle of Daphne; nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and beloved pets.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26 at 1106 Lovette Lane, Daphne. A reception will follow.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Baldwin County Humane Society, P.O. Box 206, Fairhope, AL 36533.
