"font-family:">William “Bill” Kirby Sheridan Sr., 78, a native of Birmingham and resident of Fairhope, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2011.
"font-family:">Mr. Sheridan was an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and a U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed life on Mobile Bay, including Mardi Gras.
"font-family:">Bill was a life member of the Fairhope V. F. W. He was known for his great stories, tall tales and superb cooking.
"font-family:">He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bert Sheridan, of Fairhope; daughters, Terri Sheridan and her husband, Bill Goodman, of Bromley and Angela Blair and her husband, Chad, of Chantilly, Va.; son, William Kirby Sheridan Jr. and his wife, Lynnette, of Bromley; three grandchildren, Katherine Hurley, and Dylan and Sarah Sheridan; many other relatives and dear friends.
"font-family:">Funeral services will be held from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Daphne on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church, from 10 a.m. until the service time.
