William “Bill” T. Molaschi, 90, passed away peacefully at his home in Orange Beach on Nov. 7, 2014 with his loving wife and nephew, Sam by his side.

Born in Joliet, Ill., he was a longtime resident of Lockport, Ill. and Destin, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Leona Maren Molaschi; daughter, Victoria Winters of Hillsboro, Ala.; son, Richard of Crest Hill, Ill.; sister, Louise (Nunzio) Restaino of Sunrise Beach, Mo,; grandchildren, Shelly, Jeff and Bryan Molaschi; three great-grandchildren; sister-In-law, Marie Walsh; brother-in-law, Frank (Mickey) Maren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Molaschi; and sisters, Teresa Dillion and Anna Stonitsch.

During World War II, Bill served In the U.S. Air Force as a B-17 pilot with the 351st Bomb Group.

Bill enjoyed a lengthy retirement, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Ancient Aviators, American Legion of Gulf Shores, lifetime member of VFW Post 5788 in Lockport, Ill. and member of St. Thomas by the Sea Catholic Church.

A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at 11 a.m., from St. Thomas by the Sea Catholic Church in Orange Beach.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at St. Thomas by the Sea.

Burial will take place at a later date at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola.
