William Clarence Nanney Jr., age 88, a native of Sherman, Miss. and a resident of Fairhope, Ala., passed away Monday, March 14, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia Nanney of Fairhope; children, Rose Marie Austin (Alan) of Seymour, Tenn., April Nell Parmley (Michael) of Pinson, Ala., James Rhodes (Andrea) of Fairhope and Margaret Wilkins (Ronald) of Mt. Olive, Ala.; five grandchildren, Kathy Berg of Dora, Ala., Christina Rhodes (Austin Morgan) of Fairhope, Tonya Attaway (Joseph), Bradley Wilkins and Patrick Wilkins, both of Birmingham; great-grandchildren, Zachary Berg and Alyssa Harper; many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Fairhope, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 2 p.m.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
Graveside services and interment will be held in Oakwood Memorial Garden, Gardendale, Ala., Friday, March 18, 2016 at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to First Baptist Church, Fairhope.
