William Henry “Bill” McKenzie Jr., a native of Bradford, and current resident of Gulf Shores, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. He was 81 years old. Bill was the property manager of the Lani Kai Village in Gulf Shores. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn McKenzie, and son, Mac (Allison) McKenzie of Alexander City. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Salvation Army, 2015 North McKenzie St., Foley, or online at salvationarmyusa.org. Visitation was Thursday, Feb. 23, at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley The graveside funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 1591 Gadsden Hwy., Birmingham Ala., with interment to follow.
