William Leslie Leigh Jr., 68, a native of Richmond, Vir., and resident of Josephine, died Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Pensacola, Fla.
Mr. Leigh was a resident of Josephine since 1993 and was a Deacon at the Josephine Baptist Church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Richmond, Vir., and was an avid sportsman and umpired many high school baseball games in Richmond.
He is survived by his wife, Neta Leigh, Josephine; a brother, Leonard Leigh and wife, Betty, Foley; two sons, Kevin Leigh and wife, Tee of Richmond, Vir., Matthew Leigh and wife, Tamara, grandson, Jackson Leigh, all of Gulf Shores; 10 step-children, Aaron Crow, Mary Martin, Sarah Bohacec, Joseph Crow, David Crow, Leah Smith, Elizabeth Martin, Matthew Crow, Spencer Crow and Paul Crow; and 17 step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 8, at 11 a.m. at Josephine Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Lay Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Josephine Baptist Church.
