William Michael (Mike) Buckhault, age 60, of Atmore, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 in Atmore.
Mike was a life long resident of Escambia County, Ala. He was a timber crew leader by profession and had worked at Huxford Pole and Timber, Swift Lumber, Scott Paper and Kimberly Clark. He loved his family and friends and was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew and loved him. He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Inez English Buckhault. He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Monica Sue Coleman Buckhault of Atmore; daughter, Eva Cheyanne (Blake) Wilson of Atmore, Ala; two sisters, Sandra (David)Teter of Sparta, Tenn, and Sharon (Walter) Rabon of Atmore; three brothers, Malcolm (Vinda)Buckhault of Atmore, Randolph (Carolyn) Buckhault of Brewton, and Gary (Kathy) Buckhault of Perdido; grandson, Trevor Blake Wilson of Atmore, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. C.L. Langford, the Rev. Dave Teter and the Rev. Robert Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donation can be made to Huxford Elememtary School Library or Giddeons Internation Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes, LLC in charge of all arrangements, Atmore, Alabama.
