Wilma Pennington Andress, died Friday, March 30, 2012 in a local hospital.
Wilma was born in New Hope and became a citizen of Fairhope in 1936. She was a member of Fairhope Avenue Baptist Church.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Fail Andress. She is survived by four daughters, Theresa Harrison (Danny), Daphne, Priscilla Clark (Matthew), Charleston, S.C., Shelly Potter, Fairhope, and Janis Lester (John) Stone Mountain, Ga.; sisters, Lila Marie Pennington Ryals, Fairhope, Becky Van Scyt (Rusty), Fairhope, Marion “Maggie” Ishee (Gill), Mississipi; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the service time. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. The family would like to extend special thanks to George Dana, relatives and friends for their loving support.
