Wilbur H. “Willie” Wilson, 87, a native of Columbia, Ky., and a longtime resident of Foley, died Saturday, April 19, 2008.
He was a member of FBC, Foley.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret “Mag” Wenzel Wilson; two sons, James Douglas (Janet) Wilson and William Jeffery (Freida) Wilson; three grandchildren, Amy Wilson, Jessica Wilson, James Douglas Wilson II; stepgrandson, Lee (Jennifer) Drake; three step-great-grandchildren, Crystalin, Cloey and Dylan, all of Foley; three sisters, Edna Fentress of Manteo, N.C., Faye Somma of Cincinnati and Eva Burton of Franklin, Ind.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 24, from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley with Dr. Billy Nale and Dr. Homer Massey officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
Pallbearers will be Charles Nelson, Donnie Wenzel, Gary Wenzel, Carey Christensen, John Mark Massey and James Douglas Wilson, II.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Foley, 221 N. Alston St., Foley, AL, 36535.
