Amelia Blaire Wilters and Christopher Ross Baxter were united in Christian marriage Jan. 2, 2010 at the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Ernest Tucker and the Rev. Jody Hanna Kranz officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Judge and Mrs. Robert Earl Wilters and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Young Ausphera Cox, Jr., Harry John Wilters Jr., and the late Martha Howard Wilters.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Laverne Baxter and the grandson of Charlie V. Baxter, the late Martha I. Baxter, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Fletcher Tharp.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Charlotte Beam Palmero served matron of honor. Amanda Leigh Howell served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Meggan Lee Cox, cousin of the bride; Casey Leigh Daniel, Corinna Anderson Sullivan, Marianne Allison Jones, and Mallory Ashton Burns. Honorary bridesmaids were Emily Reeve Wheeler and Kathryn Marie Webb, cousins of the bride.
The bridegroom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Colby Ryan Baxter, brother of the bridegroom; Harry Stone Wilters, brother of the bride; Michael Owens Palmero, Steven Chad Lambert, Dustin Ray Lewis, Gordon Elliott Peele and Brandon Cecil Richerson.
Flower girls were Carabeth Olivia Grimes, Annlee Grace Leidner and Bella Elise Leidner. Ring bearer was Waylon Beaux Leidner.
Madeleine Claire Leidner and Julianna Nicole Grimes served as train attendants.
Benjamin Morton Cox served as bible bearer. Bell ringers were Macy Leigh Cox and Kailee Reece Cox.
Scripture readers were Anna Katherine Wingo and Anna Margaret BeShears. The guest book and program attendants were Denise Kaiser Posey, Kathryn West Lambert, Candace Ann Boller, Danielle Kathleen Dison, and Jessi Lane Lyerla.
The ceremony featured organ/piano duos by Jackie Dahlman and Irene Walker.
A reception at Cobalt in Orange Beach followed the ceremony.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Western Caribbean, the couple will reside in Knoxville, Tenn.
