Winifred Mary Dukes, 71, a native of Salford, England and a resident of Fairhope, passed away Monday, Nov. 4, 2013.
She was a member of the British Women’s Club, and enjoyed playing Bunko with her friends.
She was also a former treasurer of Quail Creek Civic Association.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Dukes of Fairhope; one son, Steve Dukes of Spanish Fort; two daughters, Donna Marie Cummings of Summerdale and Paula Ann Stewart of Bon Secour; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous other loving relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at 3 p.m., from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A private interment will be held at a later date at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
