All roadways and bridges in Gulf Shores are open with the exception of Highway 135 through the Gulf State Park which remains closed due to icing conditions on Weir Bridge. Drivers are asked to avoid travel unless it is absolutely necessary as icy conditions are expected to stay in place throughout today and much of the day on Thursday.

Residential recycling services have been suspended until Wednesday, Feb. 5. Both red and green zones will be picked up at that time. Residential trash collection will resume on Friday, Jan.31 and the normal pickup schedule will continue next week.
