DAPHNE, Ala.—The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Business Academy Learn@Lunch will feature Cellular South’s “Unlock the Potential of Your Wireless Device” seminar on Tuesday, April 14, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bryant Bank on U.S. Highway 98 in Daphne. Jim Richmond, director of corporate communications for Cellular South, will be the presenter.

Today’s world is data driven, where management of personal and professional lives is becoming increasingly reliant on the power, productivity and efficiency of modern wireless communications. With the advent of the Internet and wireless devices that allow individuals to talk, text, send and answer e-mail, voicemail and browse the worldwide Web anytime and anywhere, it’s important to learn about such telecommunications.

Whether it is examples of free consumer and business applications on the mobile Web or tips and tricks to get more out of wireless devices, this seminar will have attendees thinking in a whole new way about the mobile phone.

The seminar will educate the user to be able to download many applications to be better informed and make better decisions. Everyone from the healthcare profession to real estate agents, to law enforcement can benefit from the applications that the devices offer, and attendees do not have to be Cellular South customers to participate.

Fee to attend is $15 for chamber members (members of any chamber of commerce may benefit from the discounted fee). Fee for potential members is $20. Lunch will be served. To register visit www.eschamber.com/academy or call 928-6387.
