Wisconsin "Snow-Birds" contribute generously to area foster children

Posted

On Tuesday, December 11, 2012  the Wisconsin Sno-Birds organization of the Gulf Coast gave $1500 worth of gift cards to the Baldwin County Dept. of Human Resources Office of Child Welfare to use as Christmas gifts for children in their Foster Care Program.

Accepting the gift from Sno-bird, Gary Durgin, are Jenny Kilpatrick and Tina Green.   This is the 8th year for the Sno-Bird club to make this donation, bringing the total given to $10,150 for foster children in Baldwin County.  There are about 110 children in Baldwin County's Foster Care Program this Christmas, according to DHR/OCW.
