GULF SHORES, Ala. — The city of Gulf Shores is proud to present Cool Change, a refreshing combination of local vocal talent, Thursday, June 18, at 7 p.m., as part of the free Gulf Shores Outdoors & In 2009 concert series.

These seasoned musicians have a wealth of performing history throughout Baldwin County and beyond.

Get together with family, friends and fans of all ages at the Erie Meyer Civic Center, located at 1930 W. Second St. in Gulf Shores.

Doors will open at 6:30 for this indoor concert. Seating is provided.

Cool Change features smooth harmony and rich vocal sounds from Walter Tatum and David Horton of Foley, along with John Andrews of Magnolia Springs.

Performing together for more years than they want to admit, as well as with Coastal Chorale, the versatile trio sings and plays music from all eras.

The addition of bass player Charlie Hathcock of Summerdale has enriched the talented group and enhanced their repertoire.

With tunes such as “Tequila Sunrise,” “Peaceful, Easy Feeling,” “Jambalaya,” “Proud Mary,” “Love Will Keep Us Alive,” “It’s a Wonderful World,” “Broken Lady” and many others, Cool Change excites audiences through their great sound, musical talent, and down-home style and humor.

These musicians are committed to their listening audience, and promise to take you on a trip down memory lane.

Organizers say these concerts are a great evening activity.

Plan to have dinner before the concert, or bring a snack with you.

If you like to eat late, the concert will last until about 9 p.m.

Relax and enjoy the sounds of Cool Change at this free indoor concert.
