Pina Dell Hillman Witherington, 74, a native of Leaksville, Miss., and a longtime resident of Daphne, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009.
She was a member of Eastern Shore Baptist Church, the Southern Cruisers and the Gold Wing Riders.
She retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a rural carrier.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Arthur Witherington of Daphne; two daughters, Sue (David) Smith and Alice (Mike) Randall of Daphne; two sons, Arthur C. (Tammy) Witherington Jr. and Roger D. (Delissa) Witherington of Daphne; sister-in-law, Lucille Hillman of Lexington, Ky.; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; a very close niece, Lavon Jones of Dallas; a very special nephew, Lee Eubanks of Bayou La Baytre; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 8 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9 at Eastern Shore Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Abba Temple of the Shrine Office and Center, 7701 Hitt Road, Mobile, AL 36695.
