Sponsored by the National Elementary Honor Society, the LifeSouth Bloodmobile will be at our school Tuesday, May 1st from 1:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. LifeSouth provides 100% of the blood for Thomas Hospital, North Baldwin Infirmary, and all hospitals in Mobile County. There will be an ice cream party for students who bring a donor to the drive. We hope that you can support this good cause.

You are invited to come “See For Yourself” the great things happening our school. Please come by and tour the school anytime from 11:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. after you stop by our office and sign in. We appreciate the support we have received from our parents and the community and would like to give you the chance to “See For Yourself” what it has meant for our students.

Project Jubilee continues to recycle used laser and inkjet print cartridges, old cell phones, PDAs, IPods, digital cameras, laptops computers, video game systems, and video games. We are able to redeem the equipment for points that can be used to purchase technology equipment and classroom supplies. The items can be dropped off at the school office. We welcome local businesses that might want to sponsor our school in this recycling effort. Please contact Mrs. Blair Heald through the school office if you have any questions.

Here just something we thought you should know, it’s just a little tip. Bullying is wrong. Do not go along with it if it happens. Don’t be a bystander. Stand up for your friends!

Another thing you need as a reminder is that yearbooks are still on sale for $32.00. We are getting down to the last few available. Don’t wait too late especially knowing you will be part of a yearbook signing party after the books arrive.

Dates to remember: May 2 is the band’s BayBear trip; May 3 is the career fair for 6th grade and Cold Snap Spirit Night; May 4 is our AR assembly and Community Event Day; May 9th is our bullying presentation and Pizza Snack Day; May 10th is our volunteer breakfast, opening ceremonies for field day, and all books are due back in to the library; May 11 is field day; May 14th is when our library closes for inventory; and May 15 is the AR skating trip and Chick-fil-A Spirit Night.
