GULF SHORES, Ala. — The 38th annual National Shrimp Festival Committee announced this week Lee Ann Womack and Fog Hat as this year’s headlining acts.
Womack will play Oct. 9 at 8:30 p.m. on the ReMax of Orange Beach East Stage and Fog Hat will play Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. on the Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce West Stage.
Gates open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 8-10 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 11.
The National Shrimp Festival is produced by the Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce, presented by Zatarain’s and sponsored in part by Re/Max of Orange Beach, Miller-Lite, Coca-Cola, Royal Prestige Cookware, Alabama Wild Shrimp, Winn-Dixie, Nanny’s Lemonade, CenturyTel Communications, Farmers Market Authority, McCollough Institute, Panola Pepper Company, Sacred Heart Health Systems, Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina and the Alabama Gulf Coast Convention & Visitor’s Bureau.
The National Shrimp Festival is located at the public beach of Gulf Shores.
Take Highway 59 south over the Intracoastal Waterway bridge until it intersects with Highway 182. The event is free and open to the public.
