SPANISH FORT — What's old is new again at Spanish Fort High. Sean Womack has been named the new Spanish Fort fastpitch softball coach for the Lady Toros, said SFHS girls athletic director George Brown about Womack who has taught at Spanish Fort for five years. "He knows the girls and they know him," Brown said. "Coach Womack is a natural fit for the job because of that and because he really knows the game."

Womack has been at Spanish Fort teaching math and also assisting as a baseball and football coach. After a hiatus from coaching, he is now back in the Toro lineup as a head coach.

"No doubt about being excited and just happy to be involved again," he said. "Especially with a good, winning program and looking forward to the opportunity. I love the quickness and energy of the game."
