DAPHNE — The first annual Conference on Women’s Issues, sponsored by Keystone Recovery Counseling Services and Bradford Health Services, will be held Oct. 26-27, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Daphne.
Titled “The Female Perspective,” the conference offers insight into the gender-specific growth and development issues of the modern woman. Attendees will learn how to help women find their own path, in terms especially suited to the way women experience relationships, self, sexuality and every day life.
The conference is open to all individuals with an interest in issues facing women in our society. Ten CEUs will be awarded for the two days for those in a related professional field.
The cost is $125 per registration and includes meals.
Conference sessions will be held Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit Penelope House and other charitable organizations dedicated to helping women.
