Sara Frances Wood, 83, born Dec. 24, 1924 in Fort Payne, a resident of Foley, died Thursday, March 27, 2008 in Foley.
She was a volunteer at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include two sons, Roy Wood of St. Louis, Mo., and J.C. Wood of Point Clear; and five grandchildren, Melanie Wood (Ted) Kahn of Arkansas, Christie Wood (Johnny) Gray of Jackson, Miss., Matthew Wood of Memphis, Tenn., Mary Wood and Emily Wood, both of Gainesville, Fla.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. at Pine Rest Funeral Home with graveside funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
The family requests memorial donations be made to South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, 1613 N. McKenzie St., Foley, AL 36535.
