Woodard Earl Martin, age 84, a native of N. C. and resident of Daphne, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, member of Fairhope Christian Church, Greeno Masonic Lodge, Abba Temple, Kentucky Colonel, Arkansas Traveler, and retired to Fairhope in 1988. He is preceded in death by his wife, Fran L. Martin. He is survived by his sons, Gregg W. Martin of Chatom, Robert Earl (Lynn) Martin of Memphis, Tenn; five grandchildren, Keith, Jayson, Hillary, Eric, and Meagan; sister, Dorothy Williams and brother, Wallace Martin, both of N.C., other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life services will be held at Fairhope Christian Church on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to Fairhope Christian Church, 349 Fairwood Boulevard Fairhope, AL 36532.
