DAPHNE, Ala.—The United States Sports Academy is offering full-tuition scholarships to those who receive a disabling injury in military combat in the Academy Scholarship for Wounded Warriors program.
The scholarship covers tuition, application and transcript evaluation fees. It can be used for any of the academy’s academic degree programs (bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate).
Veterans who have served on active duty and have an honorable separation from one of the five branches of the U.S. military that has sustained a disabling wound in combat after Sept. 11, 2001, and is eligible for admission to an academy degree program, meet the criteria to be considered for this scholarship.
Students applying for this scholarship need at least three letters of recommendation. This is an academy-sponsored scholarship and not related to other Wounded Warrior projects.
