Anna Laura Wilson Wurst, 87, a native of Doerun, Ga., and a resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband James A. Wurst Sr.
Survivors include a son, James A. (Jane F.) Worst Jr. of Bay Minette; three daughters, Mariane Schaum and Helen Cashin of Portland, Ore., and Connie Shinholser of Lebanon, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, March 2 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Chip Starnes officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery in Foley.
Active pallbearers are Roland Howell, Junius Long, Bill Reed, Mack Duck, Tom Mitchell and Joe Fuller.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 338, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
